[Ticketed] An Excursion to Nanyang Sauce Brewery

Did you know that every single drop of Nanyang Sauce is naturally hand-brewed and a family secret recipe passed down through generations? Join us for an exploration of the PLAY + MAKE space and hop on a bus to a guided tour by third generation Nanyang Sauce Family member who will bring you on a behind the scenes private tour of Nanyang Sauce Brewery. From vintage terracotta vats to private living museum, experience the sights, sounds and smell of the fermenting soy sauce. All participants will also receive a set of 2 bottles of mobile Nanyang Sauce keychain as a memento.

- Please arrive 10 minutes before the start time of the programme for registration.
- This programme is held at two locations. Participants are to meet at Children’s Museum Singapore Ticketing Counter for registration before exploration of PLAY + MAKE space at the Discovery Room from 10am to 10:45am. At 10:45am, an announcement will be made to gather programme participants to hop on a bus to Nanyang Sauce Brewery. Kindly note that cost of ticket only includes 1-way transportation.
- The Sauce Discovery Tour at Nanyang Sauce Brewery is approximately 1 hour, from 11:30am to 12:30pm.
- The total duration of the programme is approximately 2 hours 30 mins, including exploration in the museum.
- All children must be accompanied by an adult.

Inspired by WonderBot and the Time Travel Capsule, Children's Museum Singapore’s first children’s book, little explorers can create and decorate their very own time travel capsule using a variety of colourful craft materials. [Free Drop-In Activity] Before Pulau Ubin: The Great Animal Race

Who will win the Great Animal Race? Inspired by the beloved legend of Pulau Ubin, this free interactive adventure invites audiences of all ages to choose their champion, the Frog, Pig or Elephant, before helping them race towards victory. Begin your journey at the Children’s Museum Singapore carpark by colouring your very own animal sticker, then follow the adventure to the giant animal installations outside Bible House, where your vote helps decide the fate of the race. Surrounded by an immersive soundscape that brings the legend to life, every sticker adds to a growing community artwork and every vote counts. Follow the race standings announced each evening on Children’s Museum Singapore’s social media and return to discover which animal will be crowned champion at the end of the festival.

[Ticketed] COASTAL LIVES: Stories of the Sea – An Excursion to CMSG and CCM

Singapore’s story has always been shaped by the sea—through the lives of fishermen, the flavours of coastal kampongs, and the patterns woven into cloth. COASTAL LIVES invites families on a living heritage journey into Singapore’s maritime past. Begin at the Children’s Museum Singapore with WOVEN WAVES - Conceptualised by batik heritage expert Aqilah Zailan from Studio Gypsied and led by visual artist Cherlyn from Art Away Studio - discovering the stories and motifs within batik. Then board a charter bus where storyteller Kamini Ramachandran’s original audio tales and hands-on activities guide you toward Changi Chapel and Museum. There, experience TASTES OF THE TIDES with Emylia Safian and Minh Le Tien, exploring Laksa Siglap and the culinary heritage of coastal kampong life. COASTAL LIVES is curated by Kamini Ramachandran and produced by The Artground for Singapore HeritageFest 2026.
