[Ticketed] Nila’s Shimmering Shores – An Immersive Story Room Adventure

Date: 22, 23, 29, 30 Aug & 5, 6 Sep 2025

Time: 7:00pm – 8:00pm

Experience the magic of Island Nights at Singapore Night Festival with this immersive, sensory story adventure. Join us for an inclusive retelling of Sang Nila Utama, designed for neurodiverse children and families. Through sound, movement, and play, discover legends of the golden deer, the lion, and the storm. A magical blend of storytelling and craft that sparks wonder for all ages.

Venue: Various (Assemble at Children's Museum Singapore. Craft activity at museum's carpark; performance at Lewin Terrace)

Recommended Age: 4 years and above

Activity Fee: $10 per pax; $32 for bundle of 4 tickets

  1. Please arrive 15 minutes before the start time of programme for registration.
  2. Tickets are at $10 per pax and $32 for the bundle of 4 tickets.
  3. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
  4. The venue of the programme includes surroundings around Children’s Museum Singapore such as the museum’s carpark and also Lewin Terrace.
  5. The duration of the programme is approximately 1 hour.

Discover Singapore’s coastal heritage in a hands-on family journey! Start at Children’s Museum Singapore with WOVEN WAVES, exploring hidden stories in batik patterns. Then board a charter bus as storyteller Kamini Ramachandran shares original audio tales and hands-on discovery activities en route to Reflections at Bukit Chandu, where you’ll encounter kelongs, try traditional fishing tools, and learn simple knotting techniques. Craft, storytelling, and maritime traditions come together in this immersive experience for families.
