Artist Open Call - Children's Season 2026

Create with children in mind! Children’s Museum Singapore (CMSG) invites artists to pitch innovative, children-friendly programmes for Children’s Season 2026. Selected works will be performed at Museum Roundtable venues as the festival’s Signature Programmes.
1. What makes this call unique?
- Children’s voices lead the way: Your proposals will be reviewed and selected by a children’s panel, with insights from a focus group of 6–11-year-olds.
- Theme: “Sustainability” - inspire young audiences to care for the environment, be resourceful, and imagine a greener future.
- Co-creation: Selected artists will work directly with the children’s panel to refine their ideas before the performances.
2. Key Info
- Works should be suitable for children and families, include creative use of space, and accommodate at least 40 participants per session.
- Sensory-friendly elements and accessibility are preferred.
- Selected artists receive a project stipend (up to $6,000), rehearsal support, and opportunities to co-create with the children’s panel.
