Opening on 14 November 2026 till January 2029, Children’s Museum Singapore (CMSG) will unveil a new special exhibition that invites young visitors to explore what money is, how it works, and the many roles it plays in their everyday lives. Co-developed with FRida & freD The Graz Children’s Museum through CMSG’s inaugural Curator Residency, and with UOB Foundation as Presenting Partner, the exhibition aims to help children build healthy money habits from an early age while uncovering the rich heritage of trade and currency in Singapore. Designed for children aged 5 to 9, with an accompanying play space for younger ones, the experience introduces concepts such as earning, saving, donating, spending, value, and needs vs wants through hands-on, interactive, and play-based learning. Families can expect an engaging and immersive environment that sparks curiosity, encourages confidence and responsibility, and opens up meaningful conversations about what money can—and cannot—buy. While the exhibition is designed for children aged 5 to 9, Children’s Museum Singapore welcomes children aged 12 and under.
