# HeritageSG

> HeritageSG is a subsidiary of the National Heritage Board (NHB), a statutory board under Singapore's Ministry of Culture, Community, and Youth (MCCY). It brings heritage to life through curated experiences — from national festivals and museums to archaeology, placemaking, and digital innovation. As the fundraising arm of the NHB, HeritageSG holds IPC Charity status.

HeritageSG's work spans five areas: celebrating culture through marquee national festivals; preserving stories via museums and heritage sites; transforming public spaces through placemaking; developing partnerships through sponsorships and philanthropy; and bridging time with digital innovations such as 3D reconstructions and virtual tours. It also uncovers legacies through maritime and terrestrial archaeological excavations.
