Discover how their devotion gave rise to the islands we know today, and experience a child-friendly retelling of one of Singapore’s most beloved legends that continues to be treasured today.

About the Performers
Before Sisters’ Islands: The Tale of Two Sisters is performed by an ensemble of Republic Polytechnic students, emerging artists and professional theatre practitioners, led by writer, director and actor Gloria Tan. Over the past decade, Gloria has written, directed and created immersive sensory theatre experiences commissioned by leading arts, heritage and educational organisations, with her work presented across Singapore and internationally. Joining her are Raiessha, whose lifelong love for theatre has seen her grow from performer to arts marketer, and now back to the stage; Nishanth, a recent LASALLE BA (Hons) Acting graduate whose recent credits include Island Chalk Circle and And Then There Were None; and Alyah, who makes her professional theatre debut, bringing a passion for storytelling and creating meaningful shared experiences together.
