Circular Upcycling Workshop: Crafting New Stories from Cora Uniforms
Discover how discarded industrial textiles can be creatively repurposed into meaningful keepsakes in an interactive upcycling workshop that champions sustainability and social design. Led by the local sustainable label Commenhers, this hands-on session guides participants to craft their own functional cord keeper or unique plushie truck using fabrics recovered from obsolete Cora Environment corporate uniforms. Each crafting kit is carefully assembled by Commenhers’ community of makers, creating meaningful livelihood opportunities for active seniors, housewives and underserved communities while transforming discarded corporate textiles into new products.
Alongside the workshop, visitors can explore the Community Maker Story Wall to discover the journey of the recovered textiles, learn about the people behind each creation, and see how discarded corporate uniforms are transformed into meaningful new products.
