How can stories from the past inspire the voices of today?
Join us for LITTLE LEGENDS, an artist conversation presented by SMU Arts Fest 2026 in collaboration with Temasek Shophouse. Featuring three young artists from INTO THE LORE exhibition alongside its curator from Arterly Obsessed, the session explores how Asian legends have inspired a new generation of artists to create original works through visual art, photography and text.
Through their creative journeys, the conversation expands beyond the exhibition to explore the role of art in empowering young people, strengthening youth voices, and fostering meaningful connections across generations. Drawing from the exhibition's collaboration with St. Vincent Home, the panel will reflect on how creative practice can encourage dialogue, deepen understanding, and build stronger communities through shared artistic experiences.
