Singapore Night Festival Opening Party
Kick off the festival at the Singapore Night Festival Opening Party, hosted inside the historic interior of CHIJMES Hall. Curated by homegrown music collective Ice Cream Sundays (ICS), the all-vinyl music showcase features selectors Heavyitch (Itch b2b Vinylheavy) and Zai.
The soundtrack highlights regional disco, Asian rare groove, and vintage sounds reimagined in a contemporary Singaporean context. Attendees are encouraged to wear traditional attire to complement the heritage theme. The event also features an exclusive sneak preview of Clare Chong’s projection mapping performance Between Stories (showing 3–4 September).

About Ice Cream Sundays
Founded in 2016, Ice Cream Sundays has consistently challenged the boundaries of what an independent pop-up event in Singapore can look like — from helping to popularise the day-to-night format, to taking place in raw and unexpected outdoor locations, to the incorporation of elaborate DIY stages, sets, and mindbending visuals and lighting. This has seen ICS grow into a cultural force, and one of Singapore’s longest- running and largest alternative dance music events.
