PLAY @ Children’s Season 2026 - Bridging Generations Through Child-led Play Workshop

Held in celebration of International Day of Play, this workshop on child-directed play and creativity is designed for educators, artists, caregivers and grandparents. Discover practical strategies for creating meaningful experiences that bridge generations, including tips on connecting over traditional games and encouraging intergenerational communication through play. This workshop facilitated by Chapter Zero, is presented by the Children’s Museum Singapore in collaboration with the National Museum of Singapore.

PLAY @ Children’s Season 2026 - Play Together: A Pop-up Playground

Celebrate International Day of Play with child-directed play at the Museum’s Pop-up Playground by Chapter Zero. Families will get to create imaginative spaces using simple materials, and share in an experience that promotes creativity, resourcefulness, and meaningful connections across generations. This programme is part of PLAY @ Children’s Season 2026 organised by Children’s Museum Singapore, in collaboration with National Museum of Singapore.

PLAY @ Children’s Season 2026 - What Could it Be?

Celebrate International Day of Play with the joy of open-ended creativity! What can you create with just a pair of googly eyes? Let your imagination run wild—dream up a creature, a machine, a flower, a vehicle, or something entirely unexpected. Once you’re done, scan your drawing at the Stamp Parade interactive and watch it come to life! With no rules, instructions, or right or wrong outcomes, this drop-in activity invites families to create freely and connect through the spirit of play.

PLAY @ Children’s Season 2026 - The Power of Conversations: Building Resilience Through Play Workshop

Conversations that happen around play are one of the most underestimated parenting tools available. Held in celebration of International Day of Play, this workshop aims to help caregivers facilitate conversations to help your child tolerate discomfort, develop a growth mindset and be a problem solver, all through play! Look forward to an interactive workshop session where you will learn strategies before practising them in a storytelling LEGO play session with your child. This workshop led by Jacinth Liew of Our Little Play Nest is presented as part of PLAY @ Children’s Season 2026 organised by Children’s Museum Singapore.

PLAY @ Children’s Season 2026 - Let Loose! Play Workshop

Be inspired by art this International Day of Play as we let loose and play together! This hands-on workshop is designed to invite children and families to explore loose parts play and creative processes in a joyful and relaxed time at the Gallery. Join us as we discover how simple elements of art can open doors to many play possibilities. This workshop, led by Ruby Topas of The Playmakers and co-facilitated by National Gallery Singapore, is presented as part of PLAY @ Children’s Season 2026 organised by Children’s Museum Singapore, in collaboration with National Gallery Singapore.

Signature Programme

Children’s Season 2026 Signature Programme - Ms. Nat and the Zero Waste Heroes

30 & 31 May, 5 & 6 June 2026

Become an Earth Hero in Ms. Nat & the Zero-Waste Heroes, where children and their adults join Ms. Nat and her friends to lower the rising Waste-O-Meter together. Through lively storytelling, movement, and hands-on activities, families explore food waste, water conservation, and simple sustainability habits in fun, age-appropriate ways. The session wraps up with a high-energy hero chant and a recycled Zero-Waste Hero badge craft to take home. Blending play with meaningful learning, this programme offers a memorable bonding experience while empowering young children to take small everyday actions that make a big difference. This programme is part of the Children’s Season 2026 Signature Programmes line-up, presented by Children’s Museum Singapore.
