Legacy Quest: Time Together, Time Remembered

Designed for children & families to learn, appreciate, and reflect on Singapore's wartime history, Legacy Quest: Time Together, Time Remembered features immersive activities such as a museum scavenger hunt where participants solve riddles while exploring historical exhibits, a live skit that vividly portrays the Malay Regiment soldiers' courageous stand, a costume-making workshop, and many others!

Get ready for Legacy Quest: Mysteries of Bukit Chandu, a high-energy adventure designed for youths! Dive into an electrifying scavenger hunt packed with puzzles, secret codes, and race-against-the-clock challenges as you explore the museum and uncover stories of the Battle of Pasir Panjang. Wind down after the scavenger hunt with exciting activities like flower-making, photobooth, and other fun surprises! Fast-paced, interactive, and full of surprises, this immersive quest turns history into an unforgettable hands-on experience.

Legacy Quest: Echoes of History, goes beyond learning about the Battle of Pasir Panjang, it creates meaningful conversations and immersive experiences that leave a lasting impression. Part 1: Stand Firm on the Hill: An Interactive Skit

Step into history with Stand Firm on the Hill, an immersive skit that brings the Battle of Pasir Panjang to life! Through dramatic scenes, symbolic props, and heartfelt dialogue, you won’t just learn about history, you’ll experience it.

Part 2: Dress Like the Brave: A Costume-making Workshop

Unleash your creativity with Dress Like the Brave! In this hands-on workshop, design, decorate and take home your own wartime-inspired helmet just like those worn by the Malay Regiment during WWII. Guided by friendly student facilitators and using repurposed materials, you’ll craft a unique piece that celebrates resilience while promoting sustainability.

Scavenger Hunt

Time: 10.00am - 3.30pm

In this Scavenger Hunt, step into stories of the Malay Regiment, Lieutenant Adnan, and the Battle of Pasir Panjang. Each stop introduces a new challenge that sparks curiosity and encourages reflection for this chapter of Singapore’s history.

Paper Songkok Making

Create your own paper songkok and uncover its rich history! Join this drop-in activity, guided by friendly student facilitators, for a fun and creative way to connect with Singapore's heritage and honour the soldiers of Bukit Chandu.

Ideal Badge Making

Design your own ideal badge! Pick a vocation, get creative with art materials, and learn about courage, teamwork, and resilience - values of the Malay Regiment. Join us for a fun, hands-on activity for families to create meaningful keepsakes together.

Gear up for an adrenaline-pumping adventure in Scavenger Hunt, a thrilling quest packed with mystery, puzzles, and teamwork! Form a team of five and race through immersive stations featuring hands-on challenges like artefact decoding, riddles, ciphers, crosswords, and even a shooting-style puzzle game. Every clue cracked brings you closer to uncovering the dramatic story of the Battle of Pasir Panjang.

Fast-paced, story-driven, and bursting with interactive fun, this high-energy experience transforms history into an escape-room-style adventure you won’t forget!

Flower Making

Time: 9.30am – 3.30pm

Add a splash a colour at the Flower Making station! Craft your own commemorative flower with guidance from friendly student facilitators. Relax, get creative, and take home a unique handmade token that pays tribute to the brave soldiers of the Malay Regiment.

Through the Eyes of the Regiment: An Exhibition Trail

Time: 10.00am - 3.30pm

Come along for an immersive exhibition trail that brings history to life and leaves you with unforgettable stories and a deeper appreciation of Singapore’s past! Upon arrival, you’ll receive a stamp booklet filled with interactive activities - quizzes, memory games, fact-checking, and storytelling - that make learning fun and hands-on. Spread across two levels at Reflections at Bukit Chandu, the trail promises endless discoveries, with friendly game masters ready to assist whenever you need a hint.

Complete the trail and walk away with not just a sense of accomplishment, but also a richer understanding of the Malay Regiment, the WWII opium trade, and the Battle of Pasir Panjang.

Step into the shadows with our one-of-a-kind escape room experience! Designed to reflect the hardships of wartime, this dimly lit challenge uses glow sticks as symbols of hope and your guiding light through the darkness.

From decoding Jawi scripts to cracking numeric riddles, every puzzle brings you closer to freedom. Can you work together, overcome the obstacles, and escape? The clock is ticking. Are you ready for the challenge?

Strike a pose and capture the moment at our high-energy Photobooth experience with your friends, family, or new allies and take home fun keepsakes! Fun, fast, and irresistibly photogenic, don’t miss your chance to shine!

Thank You Postcards

Time: 10.00am - 3.30pm

Write a heartfelt thank-you to the brave soldiers of the Malay Regiment. Pick up a postcard, pen your message, and drop it into our mailbox. Simple, meaningful, and perfect for all ages to pause, reflect and honour the sacrifices made by our soldiers. A tribute wall with a growing display of community appreciation will be created with the postcards you mail to our brave soldiers.

Snacks & Reflect

Time: 10.00am - 3.30pm

Take a break with tasty tapioca chips, sweet potato crisp cracker and refreshing pineapple juice! Relax as you jot down thank you postcards to the brave soldiers. More than a snack stop, it's a moment to pause, connect, and honour the resilience of the Malay Regiment.
