Important Information

  1. Event Requirements & Fitness
    • This is a group hike of moderate-hard difficulty involving steep slopes, uneven terrain and proximity to a body of water.
    • Participants should be in good health and reasonably fit. Not recommended for those with serious medical and/or physical conditions without doctor's clearance.
    • Children (under 12 years old) are not recommended to participate due to the physical demands, steep sections, and safety considerations near water bodies.
  2. Weather & Cancellation Policy
    • Hikes may be postponed or cancelled due to inclement weather (heavy rain, lightning, haze), trail closures, or other safety concerns.
    • If changes occur before the start, participants will be notified via mobile phone.
    • If conditions worsen during the hike, the lead will guide the group to a safe area to wait or make the call to cancel/postpone the remainder of the trip.
  3. What to Bring / Wear (Highly Recommended)
    • Wear comfortable, closed-toe hiking/terrain shoes (no slippers/sandals).
    • Lightweight, quick-dry clothing; bring rain poncho / light jacket.
    • Water/snacks/energy bars.
  4. Risks & Liability
    • Hiking involves inherent risks including (but not limited to): slips/falls on uneven/wet terrain, encounters with wildlife, heat exhaustion/dehydration, sudden weather changes.
    • The hike includes a section near a reservoir/body of water. All participants must exercise heightened caution in these areas.
    • By joining, you participate at your own risk. The organiser and guides are not liable for any injury, loss, or damage.
