The Singapore Night Festival (SNF) 2025 presents the inaugural ALIGHT - A Southeast Asian Light Network Conference, bringing together leading artists, designers and organisers from across Southeast Asia. Connected by a shared vision of transforming night time experiences, these practitioners will discuss and showcase how light art shapes cities through installations, projection mapping, festivals, competitions, and public exhibitions. This one-day conference will include panel discussions, practical workshops and a networking session for all creatives, underscoring the festival's commitment to creating unique experiences in the precinct and regional partnerships.

Abdul Shakir
Co-organiser of ALIGHT Conference | TERANG Projection Mapping Competition (Malaysia)
Abdul Shakir (Grasshopper) is one of the co-founder of Filamen a new media art collective focusing on projection mapping, light installation and interactive installation. He works with a few post and production agencies with work range from graphic design, motion graphics to projection mapping and interactive installation projects in several countries such as China, Hong Kong, Spain, USA and of course Malaysia. With several years of agency experience, he founded Filamen to bring new media artist together and create an awareness about its industry to the masses.
Adi Panuntun
Co-Founder of Sembilan Matahari (Indonesia)
Adi Panuntun is the co-founder of Sembilan Matahari, Chairman of BCCF, and co-founder of Nirmana Kinetic. He is known for video mapping works at landmarks like Fatahillah Museum, Gedung Sate, and Prambanan Temple. His debut film Cin(T)a won a Citra Award in 2009. Adi has won top prizes in Japan, Russia, and Germany. Through BCCF, he helped Bandung join the UNESCO Creative Cities Network and initiated local policies to strengthen the creative ecosystem
DecideKit is a Bangkok-based motion graphic design firm specializing in data-driven visual storytelling. With expertise spanning infographics, 3D screens, immersive art, concerts, and product launches, the studio delivers impactful motion graphic solutions across media platforms. Combining creative passion with analytical insight, DecideKit crafts visually compelling experiences that engage diverse audiences and transform complex information into clear, powerful narratives.
Digital and Fine Art Artist (Philippines)
Isaiah Cacnio is a Manila-based motion graphics artist whose immersive works blend light, movement, and space to explore digital art, nature, and science. His sold-out 2025 solo debut The Language of Infinity at Art Fair Philippines featured Life Unfolding, merging metal prints and projection mapping. One of the first digital artists to solo exhibit at the National Museum of the Philippines, he expands how new media is experienced in traditional spaces.
The Fox, The Folks (Indonesia)
Fadjar Kurnia is Creative Director and founder of The Fox, The Folks, a Bandung-based multimedia art team specialising in animation-driven projection mapping that fuses cultural narratives with contemporary aesthetics. His work has won global accolades, including Tokyo’s 1 Minute Projection Mapping Competition (2021), Schlosslichtspiele Karlsruhe (2022), LUNAR Festival Sofia (2024), and Genius Loci Weimar (2025). Under his direction, the studio pushes the boundaries of light, colour, and narrative in public space.
Tùng Monkey, a Ho Chi Minh City–based visual artist and creative director with over 15 years of experience, uses volumetric display technology to elevate his digital art. His works have been showcased at the London Design Biennale, Taiwan’s South Wind Rise, and China’s HOW Art Museum. With expertise in real-time computer graphics, he explores generative design, NFTs, and AI, continually pushing the boundaries of creativity and technology.
Festival Director - Singapore Night Festival (Singapore)
Qazim Karim is Head of Festivals & Precinct Development at HeritageSG, overseeing the Singapore HeritageFest, Singapore Night Festival, and Bras Basah.Bugis precinct. An adjunct lecturer and career advisor at LASALLE College of the Arts, he received the George Town World Heritage Incorporated Fellowship in 2023. Formerly at the Malay Heritage Centre, he presents internationally on placemaking, with a focus on youth engagement, social media strategies, and cultural sector collaboration.
