A Walk Through Mythical Singapore
A Walk Through Mythical Singapore transforms Stamford Walkway into a captivating immersive journey inspired by the legendary creatures of Singapore’s folklore.
Divided into three enchanting realms — Sea, Land & Sky — visitors step into a mythical world where stories come to life. Dive beneath the waves and swim alongside the swordfishes of The Legend of Redhill and the magical giant tortoise said to have formed Kusu Island. Venture through lush jungles in the footsteps of Sang Nila Utama, encountering the majestic lion that inspired the founding of Singapore. Then look to the heavens, where mighty Chinese dragons and soaring Garudas command the skies in a breathtaking display of power and wonder.
About Light Together Bras Basah.Bugis 2026
Light Together Bras Basah.Bugis (LTB), held in conjunction with the Singapore Night Festival, is a new night-time experience to celebrate National Day in Bras Basah.Bugis (BBB).
Organised by HeritageSG, LTB will see lights and digital experiences transform historical buildings and hidden spaces across BBB into experiential zones, sparking imagination and uniting communities in honour of the nation’s birthday.
This year, local folklore comes alive across 5 BBB locations – Artsplace @ Waterloo Centre, Reflection Pool @ Bras Basah MRT Station, Stamford Place, Stamford Walkway and the National Museum of Singapore (1 - 12 Aug) – inviting festival-goers to explore our local stories in a new light.
