Cajon Workshop by BEAT'ABOX
Cajon Workshop by BEAT'ABOX
Cajón is a box-shaped percussion instrument made from thin plywood that originated from Peru. It is played by slapping the sides of box with the hands or with implements like sticks, brushes or mallets to produce interesting beats.
The popular workshop will introduce you to the basics of Cajón drumming as well as how to read simple musical notation. You will be able to perform in a Cajón band together with the other participants in a choreographed drumming at the end of the workshop to celebrate your initiation into Cajón-ing.
