Voyage of Icons

Voyage of Icons

Voyage of Icons is an animated projection mapping artwork that reimagines Singapore’s local folklore as a fluid, ever-evolving tapestry. Instead of literal historical retelling, the artwork weaves together a dynamic mix of familiar cultural icons, echoing how myths are often naturally formed through shared memories.

Utilising a whimsical illustrative style, the artwork transforms the facade of the National Museum of Singapore into a joyful visual journey. Audiences of all ages are invited to spot familiar fragments of their heritage and piece together their own vibrant narratives, celebrating the diverse voices that shape Singapore's stories.

About Light Together Bras Basah.Bugis 2026

Light Together Bras Basah.Bugis (LTB), held in conjunction with the Singapore Night Festival, is a new night-time experience to celebrate National Day in Bras Basah.Bugis (BBB).

Organised by HeritageSG, LTB will see lights and digital experiences transform historical buildings and hidden spaces across BBB into experiential zones, sparking imagination and uniting communities in honour of the nation’s birthday.

This year, local folklore comes alive across 5 BBB locations – Artsplace @ Waterloo Centre, Reflection Pool @ Bras Basah MRT Station, Stamford Place, Stamford Walkway and the National Museum of Singapore (1 - 12 Aug) – inviting festival-goers to explore our local stories in a new light.
