Thursday (7 May): 6pm - 8pm
Friday (8 May): 6pm - 8pm

Meeting Point: Meet at reception located on level 2 of STPI (41 Robertson Quay, Singapore 238236)

Begin with an insightful guided tour of the STPI Creative Workshop and Gallery, exploring contemporary artistic practices and collaborative printmaking. Following the tour, participants will dive into a hands-on papermaking workshop that integrates authentic spices into the pulp. This session explores how materials associated with trade and migration can be embedded directly into handmade paper, creating a textured record of maritime history. It is a unique opportunity to experiment with traditional craft while reflecting on the aromatic legacies of Singapore’s seafaring past.

STPI

STPI is a workshop and a gallery that collaborates with the leading artists of our time to expand their practices through the mediums of print and paper. Every project begins with our artist residency programme at the Workshop, supported by our world-class team of specialists through a collaborative process. Experimental, challenging and generative, our residencies push the boundaries of traditional printmaking and often result in significant new bodies of work.
