This is a drop-in activity available at HOMEGROUND @ ACM Green

Saturday (2 May): 5pm - 8pm

Inspired by Singapore’s pivotal history as a global trading port, this drop-in art session explores the role of spices as vital trade commodities. Participants will engage in relief printing, a technique that involves translating everyday aromatic ingredients into striking visual matter on paper. By using various spices as a medium, the activity provides a tactile and visual connection to the ancient maritime Silk Road. It is a creative opportunity to explore how the movement of goods through Singapore's ports has influenced both our local pantry and our artistic expression.

STPI

STPI is a workshop and a gallery that collaborates with the leading artists of our time to expand their practices through the mediums of print and paper. Every project begins with our artist residency programme at the Workshop, supported by our world-class team of specialists through a collaborative process. Experimental, challenging and generative, our residencies push the boundaries of traditional printmaking and often result in significant new bodies of work.
