Stamping the Coast is a hands-on, drop-in art activity inspired by the traditional craft of batik. Children will explore batik patterns through stamping with coastal-themed motifs.

Using stamp blocks and colourful ink pads, participants will create their own batik-inspired design on an illustrated worksheet. By experimenting with repeating patterns and layered motifs, children can mimic traditional batik aesthetics.

Recommended for ages 4 – 12 and their caregivers.

Children's Museum Singapore

This collaborative programme brings together three esteemed institutions: Children’s Museum Singapore, which inspires curiosity and learning through play for children aged 12 and under; Changi Chapel and Museum, which honours the resilience of prisoners of war during the Japanese Occupation; and Reflections at Bukit Chandu, a World War II interpretative centre commemorating the bravery of the Malay Regiment. Together, the three museums offer a rich, multi-faceted learning experience for all ages.
