Guided by cultural stories from kampong fishing communities, participants navigate interactive rotation stations to examine historical items up close and learn traditional techniques such as kelong construction. The experience includes heritage mapping and artistic interpretation activities inspired by historical shorelines, encouraging a reflective connection between past coastal practices and present-day landscapes. This session offers a deep dive into the tangible and intangible traditions that shaped Singapore’s unique relationship with the sea.

The Untamed Paths

The Untamed Paths began as a collective of passionate young naturalists and guides who believe learning belongs outdoors. What started as a hobby—scrambling through tidal pools and listening for frog calls—grew into a mission to make immersive nature experiences accessible to all. Our logo’s three leaves represent marine, terrestrial, and avian life. Join us as we uncover Singapore’s lesser-known biodiversity—no two adventures are ever the same.
