The Geylang Serai Heritage Trail covers a large area, from the west side Lorong 18 Geylang to the east side Joo Chiat Road. To make it easier for visitors, the trail is divided into three routes focusing on different aspects of local heritage.

Each two-hour guided walk visits approximately 11 sites, exploring various historical buildings, places of worship including churches, temples & mosques, and famous local eateries. The trails reveal how this dynamic district has transformed over generations while maintaining its distinctive cultural identity through living traditions, architecture, and culinary practices.

Geylang Serai Heritage Trail programme was started by the Geylang Serai CCC Integration and Naturalisation Champions (INC) in 2015. The trail covers a large area, from the west side Lorong 18 Geylang to the east side Eunos Crescent / Joo Chiat Road and from the north side Sims Avenue to the South side Dunman Road. The 3 walking Trails let you explore the various historical buildings and religious places of worship, including churches, temples & mosques, representing the religious harmony that Singapore enjoys as a multi-racial, multi-cultural country. In this Geylang Serai Heritage Trail, famous food stalls from Geylang Road to Haig Road & Eunos Crescent Food Centres selling local delicious delicacies are also featured.

Discover how the early communities shaped the city and how traces of their lives remain embedded in today’s urban landscape.

Ebbs and Flow

Ebbs & Flows is an exclusive stamp rally activation at HYPE Weekend at HOMEGROUND @ ACM Green that brings Singapore’s maritime heritage to life through hands-on, youth-designed activities. Participants move through interaction stations like knot-tying, sand art, and quizzes, collecting stamps to complete a rally card and earn keepsakes.
