Arab Peranakan Musical Performance

Musical performance by a band made up of a singer, an Oud player and a percussionist from the Arab Peranakan community in Singapore. They will perform 7 to 8 songs that are popular within the local Arab Peranakan community that are commonly played during family gatherings like weddings.

THIS PERFORMANCE WILL BE PRESENTED AT HOMEGROUND @ ACM GREEN

Move, clap and dance along to the beats and tunes of Arab peranakan music in an electric, traditional-meets-modern, and infectious performance of Arab songs popular among the local Arab Peranakan community. Witness firsthand expert musicians as they play traditional Middle Eastern instruments like the oud and the darboukah along with bilingual vocals in Arabic and Malay.
