Saturday (2, 9, 16 & 23 May): 12pm - 1.30pm

Discover the Cultural, Heritage, Art, and Tradition (CHAT) as we visit some of the oldest temples once lined along the Kallang river. They are the pivotal home of belief to the Cantonese and Teochew migrants at the area.

Visiting one of the oldest Cantonese temples in Singapore with more than 160 years of history. Mun San Fook Tuck Chee temple used to be a communal hub for coolies and is well known for its role in the local community in Kallang area. It This temple is also the birthplace of the fire dragon.

During the tour, we will visit the nearly forgotten temple dedicated to a well - respected deity of the Teochew Community. The Kallang Riverbridge Gan Tian DaDi Temple, a revered sanctuary steeped in history and spiritual significance especially to our oldest generations in the maritime trade and those residing along the Kallang River.
