Led by contemporary artists and craft practitioners, “Let’s Weave” invites you to step into the rhythm of weaving through captivating live demonstrations and hands-on workshops. Discover the timeless art of rattan weaving in this hands-on workshop led by artist Ng Si Ying, known for her contemporary approach to traditional craft. During this 30‑minute demonstration, Ng Si Ying will guide participants through the fundamentals of weaving, sharing insights into the techniques and cultural significance of this practice. Each participant will receive a specially prepared craft kit and be guided step‑by‑step to create their own rattan bracelet a unique piece to take home as both a keepsake and a reminder of the beauty of handmade artistry. Whether you are new to weaving or simply curious about the craft, this programme offers a welcoming introduction to the joy of working with natural materials.
