A collaboration between MPA and the Singapore Maritime officers' Union.

A unique dinner event at Lighthouse Bistro, a cherished gathering spot for Singapore’s maritime community. The evening blends food and storytelling, offering guests a 3-course halal-sourced meal (not halal-certified due to alcohol being served) while listening to seafarers share personal tales about life at sea. The event includes an appetizer and brief story warm-up, a main course paired with deeper narratives of memorable moments at sea and concludes with dessert and reflections on the impact of the sea. This immersive experience aims to celebrate maritime heritage, connect the community, and preserve the personal stories that shape life on the ocean.

Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore

The Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA), established in 1996, drives Singapore’s development as a global hub port and international maritime centre. In 2026, as MPA marks its 30th anniversary, the Singapore HeritageFest 2026 spotlights Maritime Heritage. MPA has initiated collaborations with our partners to curate a series of programmes spanning vessel visits, guided tours, talks and fun lifestyle activities—bringing Singapore’s rich maritime story to life for all.
