Heat Press and Play

by HAFI

3, 17 May • 02:30pm

Join our HOMEGROUND artist HAFI for Heat Press and Play, a workshop where participants are given traditional textiles like batik as a canvas for storytelling. They can choose from an array of Illustrated heat press patches, arrange them on the fabric and iron them on. The end result is a stunning piece of tapestry that they will be able to weave their stories on and bring home. Participants are encouraged to bring their own batiks or cotton-made items (up to two) to decorate and create a more personal narrative.
