About Sarafian Salleh
Inspired by tracing his Bugis family roots, Sarafian Salleh has researched the history of the Malay world since 1985. He has led heritage walks since 2013 and delivers public talks on Bugis traditions and legacy. A licensed Singapore Tourism Board tour guide, he guides schools, universities, delegates, and organisations. Trained in Mechanical Engineering at the Queensland University of Technology, he has run Diagnoveritas Pte Ltd since 2002, founded Bugis Temasek in 2008, and authored Tuah Bugis – Chronicles of the Seafaring People of Singapore.
