Saturday (9 & 23 May): 8:30am - 11:00am

Joo Chiat connects the Geylang Serai's Malay hub to the north and Eurasian & Peranakan enclaves to the southern Katong precinct.

Being a confluence of myriad cultures, its shophouses are as colourful as the cuisines, trades and stories that ply the neighbourhood. This former coconut plantation named after Mr Chew Joo Chiat, holds a wide array of unique architecture, back alley murals and community institutions.

Come join us to explore the hidden stories of the back lanes of this vibrant neighbourhood.

This programme is Culture Pass eligible.
