Discover the joy of movement as you learn five fundamental Malay dance forms step by step, guided by stories of kampong life and courtly Istana traditions. This hands‑on dance workshop introduces the simple eight‑count rhythms of Inang, Asli, Masri, Zapin and Joget, revealing how these styles evolve from communal village dances into regal performance expressions. Designed to prepare participants to be part of Sri Warisan’s dance presentation, the session offers a meaningful and immersive journey into Malay dance - where history, storytelling and movement come together in a vibrant celebration of heritage.
