Dive into Singapore's rich maritime heritage through the art of building a traditional jong. This hands-on family workshop explores how these magnificent vessels once ruled the seas of Southeast Asia.

The jong was more than just a ship; it symbolised the seafaring skill, trading networks, and maritime strength that connected the Malay world to ports across the region and beyond.

Watch as Cik Fauzi, a traditional jong craftsman, demonstrates the intricate assembly of a traditional jong, sharing the skilled techniques passed down through generations. Then, families can work together to build their own miniature jong to create a meaningful keepsake. This workshop is perfect for families, bringing together learning, culture, and creativity in one memorable maritime adventure.
