Step into a world of maritime tales through this immersive, life-sized artwork! Created by Boon Baked, this mural installation presents visual vignettes of Malay folktales. Grab a torch and shine on the artwork’s luminescent paint – you might just find characters and creatures of the seas that surround the region. 

This artwork is created by the Boon Baked, commissioned by the Malay Heritage Centre.

Malay Heritage Centre

The Malay Heritage Centre (MHC) provides wonderful cultural exposure and learning opportunities for people of all ages and interests. Situated within the Kampong Gelam precinct, the Centre acts as a vital heritage institution for the Malay community in Singapore. Through its exhibits, programmes and activities, the Centre hopes to honour the past while providing a means for present-day expression.
