Experience the excitement of dragon boating through this introductory try-out organised by the Singapore Dragon Boat Association (SDBA) in partnership with Sport Singapore as part of the Sea Sports Heritage Fest 2026. Designed for beginners and recreational participants, this session offers a safe and engaging opportunity to discover one of Singapore’s most iconic water sports.

Participants will be guided by certified and experienced trainers who will introduce basic paddling techniques, boat coordination, and teamwork fundamentals before heading onto the water. No prior experience is required — just a willingness to learn, paddle, and enjoy the outdoors.

Beyond the physical activity, participants will gain insight into Singapore’s rich dragon boat heritage and how the sport has evolved from traditional cultural practice into a modern competitive and community sport. Whether you are seeking a new fitness activity or a unique water adventure, this try-out promises an energising and memorable experience on the water at Kallang.
