Home at various points in its history to coconut groves, idyllic seaside villages that served as movie sets, prawn farms, waterfront getaways, old school marinas, naval and nautical training schools, shipyards, a naval supply base and port facility, its maritime connections are go much further.

Join Jerome Lim on a trail to discover places, objects and stories that that speak of Sembawang’s, as well as his own connection to the sea. From overnight adventures at the jetty and forays into its seaside villages to stints in Sembawang Shipyard and Sembawang Camp, Jerome’s experiences of Sembawang span a period of more than five decades. He has also been a Sembawang resident for more than 25 years.
