Step into 200 years of medical history with the inaugural docent-led tour of Singapore General Hospital. Beginning as the Seamen’s Hospital at Pearl’s Hill in 1845, the institution’s growth mirrors the nation's development into a premier medical city. Explore the historic campus to hear stories of medical pioneers and architectural evolution, and learn about SGH’s role during national crises like the Hotel New World collapse. The session concludes with an interactive activity featuring commemorative stamps and postcards, celebrating two centuries of healing in a maritime context.
