Saturday (16 May): 10.30am - 12.30pm

Discover the seafaring legacy of the "People of the Tide" through the art of the Teochew Png Kueh. This immersive experience traces the journey of the iconic "rice peach" from Southern China to Singapore’s ports, symbolizing longevity and resilience. You will master the use of Kueh moulds and learn the origins behind the translucent pink skin and savoury rice filling.

Beyond culinary craft, this workshop is the heart of Yoon’s social mission. As a social enterprise, we provide a safe, dignified training platform for female ex-drug offenders to reclaim their lives. Every knead and fold supports their professional reintegration and sustainable employment. By participating, you are not just preserving a fading culinary heritage; you are directly fuelling a transformative second chance for our beneficiaries. Join us to celebrate culture and impact, where every kueh tells a story of survival, migration, and hope.

Please note that each participant will be able to take home a box of freshly made Png Kueh, a kueh mould, and Yoon’s family recipe.
