A collaboration between MPA and PSA Singapore

As part of Singapore HeritageFest 2026, the Singapore Maritime Gallery presents a special programme celebrating Maritime Heritage through public talks and guided tours. The experience begins with a 45-minute gallery tour exploring Singapore’s rich maritime history, its global connectivity, and how innovation and sustainability keep it future-ready. Participants then enjoy rare access to restricted terminals operated by PSA Singapore via an exclusive windshield bus tour. Guided by a PSA expert, the tour traces Singapore’s evolution from a modest transhipment hub to a global maritime leader, highlighting manual crane operations at the city terminals and advanced automation at a Pasir Panjang terminal. The programme concludes with insights into Tuas Port and ongoing in port operations. Showcasing how 80% of global trade moves by sea, this immersive experience underscores Singapore’s vital role as a world-class maritime hub. Bring home an exclusive memento from PSA at the end of the windshield bus tour!

Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore

The Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA), established in 1996, drives Singapore’s development as a global hub port and international maritime centre. In 2026, as MPA marks its 30th anniversary, the Singapore HeritageFest 2026 spotlights Maritime Heritage. MPA has initiated collaborations with our partners to curate a series of programmes spanning vessel visits, guided tours, talks and fun lifestyle activities—bringing Singapore’s rich maritime story to life for all.
