One of the photo walk’s highlights is a guided tour at the Vintage Cameras Museum, where participants can learn about the evolution of photography and the significance of capturing moments. Engage in a hands-on experience and appreciate design elements through film photography. This immersive journey offers a unique opportunity to connect with the past while honing a new skill. Whether you're a heritage enthusiast, a photography buff, or simply curious about Kampong Gelam's allure, this tour promises an enriching and memorable exploration of the precinct's hidden gems.

 

Things to note:

  • The tour is conducted in English.
  • Recommended for ages 7 years and above. MHC reserves the right to deny admission to children aged 6 years old and below.
  • Each ticket admits one participant only.
  • The tour duration is approximately two hours.
  • The meeting point for the tour is Aliwal Arts Centre Courtyard (next to Tipo Pasta Bar).
  • Kindly arrive at the meeting point 15 minutes before the programme commences for registration.
  • This is a rain-or-shine event. Participants are encouraged to bring their own umbrellas or ponchos.
  • Tickets are non-refundable.
  • Please note that photographs and videos of attendees taken at this event may be used for publicity and outreach purposes.
  • Personal particulars of participants will be collected to administer delivery of developed photographs to an address of the participant’s choice.
